St. Raphael Campers:
The annual Spring campout last weekend (4/25 - 4/29) was a great success at the Harbor Lakes RV Resort in El Jobean. We all enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music at the Bean Depot Cafe the first evening. We had a beautiful informative boat ride on the Myakka River (thank you Jim), visited an old cemetery and the historic center, had a tour of one of the oldest homes in El Jobean (thank you Julie, Dan & Carter), had some delicious shared meals together and relaxed around the pool. We attended Mass at nearby St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish. What a great time was had by all!Come join us at the next campout in the Fall at Myakka River State Park in Sarasota Oct. 24th thru 27th. If anyone is interested in joining us, please call Bob & Geraldine Scott 474-8888. All you need is a tent or camper or an RV -up to 45’ in the new Palmetto Ridge section. We have 7 units reserved already.
